Merlyn mk. 24 is the last model of the Formula Ford's being pretty with the classic cigar shape.
Manufactured by Colchester Racing Development (CRD), chassis # 429FF73 was delivered April 24th 1973 to Denis Rowland Racing, 9 Lancaster Road, London SW19, UK. It emerged in Sweden in 1990, and following a thorough restauration it was raced in Sweden and Denmark by Janne Hansson and myself.
The Merlyn is on the button with only one race on the refurbished fully balanced engine, new Dunlop's, new brake master cylinders, refurbished calipers with new pistons, new seatbelts, new battery, new ITG air cleaner and a new FIA rain light.
It wears a Danish National Passport and an expired FIA Historic Technical Passport.
Currently fitted is a yellow body. A new full body from CRD is ready for the paintjob and comes with the car. Further is a set of worn Dunlop's on rims with the car.
